Imam Akram's Classic Marriage Khutbah

Traditional Marriage Khutbah

And among His Signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are signs for those who reflect.
All praise due to Allah, who’s Mercy encompasses the entire universe, and whose Justice is Infinite and whose treasures are boundless. We confirm that Allah is all Merciful All-forgiving, and has no partners.
We believe, in all Prophets Adam Isaac Ishmael. Jacob, Jonah, Moses Aaron, Jesus, and confirm that Mohammed bin Abdullah is the last in the line of Prophets from the progeny of Abraham; Quran confirms all the previous revelations is not a Book of Philosophy, but the basis to all past and present philosophies, not a treatise on psychology, but key to a psychology for a way of life through the Legacy of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah sallahoalaihi wasalam.
The learning process to an Islamic way of life is of a perpetual dimension to a virtual reality, simply not acquired by attending a “Sunday school. In the light of the Quran and Sunnah of Our Beloved Prophet (saw).
The edicts in the Quran are very implicit, explicit, and coherent, void of implied versions and conjectures and are not to be understood in a “cut and paste” manner.
Marriage at inception provides sensitivity and an equated balance in understanding the dictates of allowances and constraints between all aspects towards a going forward plan for a having a right to mutual harmony
Islam respects all Monotheistic faiths with certain exceptions and accepts the Prophets of Judaism and Christianity, and broadly speaking, it is cut from the shared theological cloth of prophetic monotheism.
We have concluded the initial solemnization for an inception to matrimony, of ___________ &_____________a remarkably beautiful couple, embarking on their blissful journey on the matrimonial highway.
The fundamental reforms and Shariah rights brought about by Islam within matrimony, included ________receiving rights over her husband ___________in the same way that _______has rights over __________and these include:
The accepted Dower an exclusive possession in one of the brides rights negating any perception of an analogy to a piece of merchandise
In the Islamic perspective dower on the contrary signifies as a symbol of personal honor and esteem as an equitable right for the bride. May Allah shower His choicest blessings Ameen.
Regards the Institution of Marriage, Prophet Muhammad, Pbuh have mentioned that the believers, who possess perfect faith, are those who display the best manners, and the best amongst you are those who treat their spouses (wives) in the best possible manner.
The best of women is the one who pleases you when you look at her, complies when you request her, and safe guards you during your absence in regards with herself and your wealth.
There is however “seeming brevity” of this solemn occasion “Nikka” in Islam, an amplified “version of traverse,” a journey for the couple, at inception, in the eyes of all witness’s into a harmonious matrimony.
Marriage has maintained its consistency in all faiths and survived to be known as the oldest cradled institution to initiate procreation, a positive trajectory from innocence to a mutual experience in a trapeze act at inception of this real pantomime of now matrimony.
The word “zouj” is commonly used in Arabic for both the bride as well as the groom, with a submission To Allah’s Will, within the precincts of matrimony. The characteristic of its intimacy is unique, and in Islamic terms is called Mithaq, a sacred covenant, concluding to become an agreement between two mutually consenting, male and female adults proclaiming their commitment to each other under the transparent vigilance of Allah, in a seamless fusion of Nikka, additionally uniting both individual families into a symphony of marital bliss. Included among the pleasing acts of amusement is the playing of the duff (hand drum) reciting poetry, announcing the marriage with a modest feast.
Marriage is a commitment specific and a graduated understanding over time between both parties participating in the mutually agreed matrimony, moving forward, to extend the needed support for each other.
By the one in whose hand is the soul of Mohammad, a woman does not fulfill the rights of the Creator until she fulfills the rights of her husband. However Islam is void of Machismo.
This in time translates to mutually accepting each other and encourages growing. ” No longer can the newly weds act individually, as only kids think shortly and singularly”.
Therefore, this traverse now would assist to recognize, respective strengths and weaknesses, with an awareness of pressure points of the couple in forgiving each other many times daily.
We are what we repeatedly do; excellence therefore is not an act but a habit. “Aristotle”
The focus should be that we come to an understanding of each other’s situations without anticipating an array of improvements, as the mutually agreed fusion is to stimulate the trust in each other for a long lasting relationship over a desired variance of a timeline.
For this reason marriage translates to a covenant of serious accountability, and remains as a proof of perfection.
A poetic reflection of love from Hafez
"I have estimated the influence of Reason upon Love and found that it is like that of a raindrop upon the ocean, which makes one little mark upon the water's face and disappears”
The greatest Impressionist” Claude Monet “showed the phenomenon of light in his paintings” to be a source of life. He mentioned saying,” everyone discusses my art and pretends to understand, as if it were necessary to understand, when it is simply necessary to love.
My conclusion to this beautiful thought process has always related to reflect a matrimonial conclusion “as it is simply love and to cherish each other, with this foregoing summation:
As “Monet’s lilies” void of the pond in the flower garden @ Giverney is otherwise an incomplete Impressionist to an art rendition “. ________ alongside __________ with mutual love for each other would complete their portrait of matrimonial harmony. A well desired legacy of perfection for their parents respectably.
Brevity of time, and auspiciousness of the occasion, restricts me, the luxury to detail my thoughts further, I wish draw a curtain to this hour, and congratulate the Families of the Bride and Groom,
(Both parents of the bride and groom), extending greetings to all who have participated in this matrimonial celebration.
In conclusion, I wish all to join myself in prayers for this beautiful couple as invoking blessings has been a Prophetic Tradition.
“Allah’s blessings for you both and blessings upon you both May you be joined together in righteousness
Ameen.

Prophesied Imam Mahdi and a Promised Messiah

Prophesied Imam Mahdi and a Promised Messiah

All praise due to Allah, who’s Mercy encompasses the entire universe, and whose Justice is Infinite and whose treasures are boundless.
We confirm that Allah is all Merciful All-forgiving, and has no partners. We believe, in all Prophets and their previous revelations, and confirm that Mohammad (peace is upon him) is the last in the line of Prophets from the progeny of Abraham peace be upon them

The principals of Islam are based on two main parameters, one is Tawhid. (Oneness of the creator) and Risala’Prophethood of Mohammad bin Abdullah to be the termination in the line of Prophets from the progeny of Abraham peace be upon him
Islam basically now becomes an institution of a virtual version of a learning process not simply a library entering to a “learn it yourself” or attending and participating at a “Sunday school” and perceive that we are the complete scholars in religion
“Imam Ali a few years prior his assassination remarked “a virtuous man is recognised by the good that is said about him and the praises which Allah has destined him to receive from others.

Today there is the controversy regards the Akir- uz-zamman, The Messiah, The Mahdi and amongst the hoopla there is the involvement of Hollywood embarking on this subject with The Divinci code. What are the answers we have given our children or have we succumbed to the information provided to us by the media.
I have some information which can be provided without doubt to your families in a simple format.
Prophesied Imam Mahdi and a Promised Messiah
Islam—with more than one billion adherents to its various forms—has become increasingly visible in recent years. Practitioners of this belief system, which is based on the Qur’an, can be found in most nations of the world. The prophet Muhammad is a familiar personage to most outside of Islam and commands deep respect from those in it. He is said to have ascended into heaven from a rock on top of what Jews and Christians believe is Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, to receive special instructions from God.
The world is now becoming aware of the Islamic belief in a coming Messiah coupled with an apocalyptic aspect. The Iranian president’s petition to Allah offered a glimpse into one version of this belief, shared by millions within the Muslim religion.
The majority of Muslims are of the Sunni branch of Islam, while Shia makes up much of the minority belief. It must first be acknowledged that many in the Sunni majority do not subscribe to the belief in a Mahdi as viewed by the Iranian president and the Shiites.
Many Sunnis view the Messiah as exclusively “Jesus the son of Mary.” It should be pointed out that some noted Sunni authorities have rejected belief in the Mahdi altogether.
The portion of Sunni Muslims who do believe in this figure, they do not necessarily accept that he is the Twelfth Imam, as do the Shiites. Yet it is beneficial to understand what the Iranian president, the minority Shiites and some Sunnis in particular countries believe in regard to the Imam Mahdi. Who is this Imam Mahdi and what is his significance? Is he regarded as the same as the promised Messiah? Or are they considered two different figures?
The term Mahdi is interpreted to mean “the Guided One.” Though (according to some Muslims) not specifically mentioned in the Qur’an, the belief of a coming Mahdi is rooted in Islamic Hadith, or traditions, based on its teachings. According to these Hadith, the Mahdi is to be descended from the Prophet Muhammad’s family (from Ishmael, of the Old Testament). At age 40, he is expected to appear on the scene suddenly at the time of the end, a period when the world will be filled with injustice and tyranny, and believers (of Islam) will be under oppression.
Preceding his appearance will be various signs such as a great earthquake and green grass growing in desert lands. Receiving knowledge directly from Allah, the Mahdi will rule over the Muslim community for seven (some say nine) years, spreading brotherhood, equity and devotion among Muslims. It is also believed he will bring justice to the Earth, uniting Arabs and other peoples under Islam.
These events occur prior to a second physical coming of Hadrat Isa bin Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary), who Islam believes was a prophet of God from the lineage of Abraham, and the prophesied Messiah. According to some Hadith, Jesus and the Mahdi will co-rule for a short time. At Jesus’ return, he will fight and overcome the Dijjal (the “antichrist”), will rule according to the laws of Islam, and cause the peoples of the world (Jews and Christians) to embrace Islam, heralding in a time of justice, peace and prosperity.
During his 40 years on Earth, he will be married for 19 years, have children, and then die and be buried in a grave next to the holy prophet. He will also be victorious in a battle against Gog and Magog (nations also mentioned in the Old Testament). These events are said to happen before all believers die prior to the Day of Judgment, during which a resurrection of the dead, involving judgment and punishment, occurs. It is after this that Allah establishes his kingdom on Earth, with Islam as the worldwide religion.

The Two Main Parameters Of Islam Tawhid and Risalat

The Two Main Parameters Of Islam Tawhid and Risalat

All praise due to Allah, who’s Mercy encompasses the entire universe, and whose Justice is Infinite and whose treasures are boundless.
We confirm that Allah is all Merciful All-forgiving, and has no partners. We believe, in all Prophets and their previous revelations, and confirm that Mohammad is the last in the line of Prophets from the progeny of Abraham peace be upon them
The principals of Islam are based on two main parameters, one is Tawhid. (Oneness of the creator) and Risala’Prophethood of Mohammad bin Abdullah to be the termination in the line of Prophets from the progeny of Abraham peace be upon him.
Muhammad Bin Abdullah (peace be upon him) moral superiority, was the real secret of his power and success.
Risala is the medium through which we receive the law of Allah in a dual basis Quran the revealed Book where Allah has expounded His law and authoritative interpretation by the prophet himself through word and deed as a vicegerent on earth and in Heaven and this fusion is The Shariah law.
He preached a religion of submission to( One creator Ahad) by the creation laid down a moral code establishing a dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the Worlds of human thought and action for all times to come. (The story of the Old Woman)
Islam respects the prophets of Judaism and Christianity, and broadly speaking, it is cut from the shared theological cloth of prophetic monotheism.
We now take up Tawhid which signifies that that no aspect of life in all its multifarious forms our own organs and faculties ,the apparent control over physical objects themselves has been created or acquired by us in our own right. They are the bountiful provisions of Allah the creator given to us as a trust. These and the gift of a beautiful family is a trust and this has to be provided with equity.
Islam basically now becomes an institution of a virtual version of a learning process not simply a library entering to a “learn it yourself” or attending and participating at a “Sunday school” and perceive that we are the complete scholars in religion...
The Innate nature of human being coupled with Intelligence helps his will power to take right decisions. This is where many a times our decisions are influenced by external factors void from understanding Tawheed in its real essence.
To Allah we owe the satisfaction of all needs but He Allah is independent of all needs. (Sura Anaam ayat #14)
Then when we meet up with dire consequences we start to blame the external factors.
We have several fundamental problems with ourselves, and unfortunately we try to find the solutions also from within us only. Allah (s) has created a Spiritual medical system for us, the system of Fuqaha and Ulama and Muhadiseen. When we experience spiritual problems; we don’t consult them, and keep on justifying our incorrect actions, and eventually end up doing more wrong actions devastating the mosaic of an entire community.
We consider the Ulama as the last resort to approach them, that too to not get a solution from them, but to get a certification on my already Pre-decided solution for instance the latest amongst the young ones is “brother follow the authentic Quran and Hadees with Daleel.
Imam Ali a few years prior his assassination remarked “a virtuous man is recognised by the good that is said about him and the praises which Allah has destined him to receive from others
We need to take this as a queue when our children arrive to such a conclusion as they are in the company of pseudo Mentors who guised themselves as the “know it all literalist scholars void of the actual meaning of Tawhid”.
If we speak against their desires or sexual preferences of dual spouse inequity although an allowance from the Quran, then we are called biased, liars and not as intelligent as we as parents are not following the authentic Quran. But they hardly realize that their actions are correct and more up and up taking them in the spider’s web.
The true assessment of Tawhid (recite ILM) only happens at times of test. Faith without Test is not faith.
Risala is the medium through which we receive the Law of Allah, we have received the Quran the expounded book of Allah’s law and the authoritative interpretation, and exemplification of the book By Prophet Muhammad Peace of Allah be upon Him who established a model system of Islamic life a combined system called the Shariah law...
